         They dragged him down the corridor, hooking their arms with his. The guardians pulled him forward, frustrated by his restraint. He purposely let his feet drag. He was trying to make their job harder. "Hey, what happened to those muscles? You gettin' limp on me?" he mocked, avoiding eye contact with them. This irritated them. One guardian shouted something in archaic tongue, while the other raised its sword, and hit his prisoner in the stomach with the hilt of it.           The reddish-orange light from the sunset mixed in heavily with the darkening sky. I looked over at the girl sitting next to me, the light from the horizon reflecting off of her light blond hair. She was 7; I was 6.
